Write about a few of your favorite family traditions.
It was understood – no matter what was going on in your life – that Sunday lunch was always a time for family. A time to talk, a time laugh (or cry) but most of all, a time to enjoy the company of people that would always be closest to you and who knew you the best.
But, if I was to summarise my family dynamic, the only tradition that held fast, was the need and insistence to be honest, selfless and understanding with each other. The love was unconditional and it showed.
That’s what made my family strong. And, with the passing of time and souls, that’s what I miss the most.
