Loosing your mind?

Losing your mind? : A poem by P.A.Davies

Losing your mind?

Losing your mind?

Sometimes you will weep without reason.
Sometimes you will chuckle out loud.
Sometimes you will feel that your life makes no sense,
and your purpose is lost in the crowd.

Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason.
Sometimes it’s as clear as the day.
Sometimes you will hear what you don’t want to hear,
and regret hurtful words that you say.

Sometimes you will feel your heart breaking.
Sometimes you’ll be jumping with glee.
Sometimes you will love without being in love,
or give love that’s never received.

Sometimes you will feel that you’re lonely.
Sometimes you’ll crave being alone.
Sometimes you’ll consider the worth of your life,
and who might be grieved when you’ve gone.

Sometimes you will wake to the sunshine.
Sometimes it’s a cold, cloudy sky.
Sometimes you will shout that the world can fuck off,
or rejoice in the fact you’re alive.

These feelings can turn on a sixpence
and sometimes, bipolar is feared.
But these are emotions of each human mind,
and sometimes the mind isn’t clear.

Your brain is a complex computer,
absorbing the data it finds.
But don’t be alarmed if your logic seems lost,
for you’re really not losing your mind.

It’s a temporary break in the circuit.
A glitch in the brain’s ethernet.
Emotions and memories get stuck in the mix,
and it just needs some time to reset.

So next me you’re feeling confuzzled,
and thoughts are becoming a haze,
just close up your eyes and then take a deep breath,
and let karma unravel the maze.

It’s all good.
