Up on my wall

Up on my wall, within a frame
Are memories that keep me sane. 
And every time I’m feeling low
It’s to this spot my eyes will go.

For on that wall, within that frame
Are photographs of what I’ve gained. 
The one great gift I knew would be
The force behind a better me.

I thank you for the years gone by
you’ve filled my heart and soul with pride. 
You’ll always be my treasured one
